Examination

Condonation as per University Norms

  • To be qualified to take the exams, students must have at least 75 percent attendance in each course. Students who have achieved a grade point average of 65 to 74 percent must submit an application for condonation along with a fee of Rs. 500/-(Five hundred rupees only).
  • Students who have achieved 64 percent to 50 percent attendance must apply for condonation in the approved form and submit it along with the stipulated cost of Rs. 500/-(Five hundred rupees only) and a medical certificate.
  • Students having less than a 50% attendance rate are not qualified to take the examination and must retake the semester when the course is completed, with the consent of the university's registrar.

Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA)

A test will be administered in the departments upon completion of one or more units of the syllabus. Parents will receive a progress report on the unit testing and other class tests. It is strongly encouraged that students should not miss the internal assessment examinations. They will not be given internal marks if they are absent.

Pre-Semester Examination

At the end of each semester, pre-semester assessments are held to evaluate student's progress and to implement required remedial measures.

Norms for Revaluation / Retotaling / Transparency (As per University Norms)

  • For the current session, revaluation, retotaling, and transparency can be applied to any number of papers.
  • Within 7 days of the announcement of the result (on the university website), the HOD/Principal of the college (for affiliated colleges)/Director of the center for distance education where he/she has taken the course must submit an application for revaluation/retotaling/transparency in the prescribed form. Applications are available for download on the university's website.
  • The revaluation can be done with or without the answer scripts being transparent.
  • If the candidate passes the revaluation of paper(s) and qualifies for admission to P.G. courses/Higher education, the university will not be under any circumstances.
